Orientation / Beginner Classes

1st Time fencers

Minnows 6 – 9 years old

This introductory class meets on Saturdays from 9:00-9:45am (epee) and 9:45-10:30am (saber). This class is for our youngest fencers. Our emphasis is on movement and introducing these minnows to fencing in a safe, fun, engaging environment. New fencers can join during our complementary beginner/orientation class which is run once a month. Gear is provided for the first month. When you sign up on the app (link below) the app will direct you to either the epee or saber class. Once you’ve come for a month you may try the other class and/or stay for both.

The Intro class is FREE.

1st month is $75 (discounted) and then $95 for the monthly subscription.

New Fencers 10 years and older

This introuctory class meets on Saturdays from 11:00-12:30pm. This class is for new fencers and designed to introduce you to both epee and saber (the 2 weapons that we fence at the club). New fencers join during our complementary beginner/orientation class which is run once a month. Gear is provided for the first month.

The class covers:

Introduction to the equipment
Introduction to fencing etiquette
Safety rules and sportsmanship
Basic fencing epee and saber

The Intro class is FREE

1st month is $75 (discounted) and then $185 for the monthly subscription.

Includes all the weekly classes on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Monday and Wednesday are saber nights and Tuesday and Thursday are epee nights. After the first month you may also come to Saturday practices from 10:30-12:30pm.

After the 1st month a monthly subscription costs $185 unlimited classes.
