Competitive Program


The Competitive Program is designed for athletes preparing for local, regional, and national competition through structured, high-performance training.

Program Overview

Training emphasizes technical refinement, tactical decision-making, conditioning, and competitive readiness.
Performance monitoring and reaction training are built into the program to support long-term athlete development.

BlazePod Reaction Training, enhanced by Texas Fencing Academy’s patent-pending High Accuracy Trigger (HAT) modules, is integrated into competitive training to support precise performance measurement and feedback.

Training Structure

  • Unlimited training access Monday–Thursday evenings and Saturdays, within the structure of scheduled competitive training and open fencing
  • Regular participation in open fencing (7:00–9:00pm)
  • BlazePod Reaction Training included
  • Performance tracking and readiness monitoring
  • Season-based competition preparation

Competitive fencers are expected to have their own fencing equipment appropriate to their weapon.

$250/month

BlazePod Reaction Training included.
Private lessons are optional and scheduled separately.
