Off Campus Physical Education (OCPE) Program

The OCPE Program (Off-Campus Physical Education) lets students approved by their school fulfill Physical Education requirements through structured fencing training.

Program Overview

Off-Campus PE allows a student to substitute an approved outside athletic program for their school’s PE class. Texas Fencing Academy works with AISD, RRISD, EISD, and other districts to meet attendance and reporting requirements, and provides the documentation the school needs.

Students participate in structured fencing training aligned with school guidelines — footwork, blade work, tactical drills, conditioning, and supervised bouting — alongside our recreational and competitive fencers.

Training Structure

  • Scheduled training Monday–Thursday evenings and Saturdays, set to meet your district’s weekly hour requirement
  • Attendance logged every session; reporting submitted per district guidelines
  • Access to open fencing (7:00–9:00pm) and BlazePod Reaction Training
  • Personal fencing equipment is required and may be purchased through the club

Pricing

OCPE – Off Campus Physical Education (Monthly) — $215/month
Attendance tracking and district reporting included.
Private lessons are optional and scheduled separately.

Who This Program Is For

  • Middle and high school students whose school has approved OCPE
  • Homeschool students who need a documented, coach-led PE curriculum
  • Students who want PE that builds focus, discipline, and real athletic skill

Before enrolling, confirm OCPE eligibility and hour requirements with your school or district. We’re happy to walk you through the paperwork.
